It rather depends on where you want to live in Spain and what language/s you want to teach. Are you talking about teaching English to Spanish or Spanish to English. Many towns now provide government funded lessons for foreigners at a local school, but some people prefer to be taught at home or at the tutors house. Choose your area and look in the local papers for adverts to see what lessons are available and at what price. www.surinenglish.com is a good place to start as it covers most of the Costa Del Sol. You could also try looking up English newspapers in Spain on the net for other areas. Also many adds are placed in bars and call boxes etc, so in effect there are more people out here offering this service than you would think, by just looking in the papers you will not get an accurate guide as to your competition. If you could get over to Spain for a holiday you would give yourself a better chance of finding out what you would need to do
Good luck

There are umpteen dozens of language schools in Spain...
Before trying to open a new one, I suggest you try and get a bit of experience...why don't you start by working at an already existing school, and go on from there.
Also what languages you want to teach might be of great importance. Ther are loads of spanish for foreigners and english for spaniards... If you have other languages, you might have more luck...
