When Shelton Benjamin moved to RAW from Smack Down! I thought that Benjamin would be the first 'Afro-American' champ (World Heavyweight or WWE) in the WWE. I think this guy has got an amazing move set and athletic ability. Plus his 'mic' skills aren't too bad either. So why hasn't he ever been in contention for the 'Major' titles in the WWE?

Plus, he's moved his way up with Tag Team and Intercontinental gold.

Has he maybe got bad relations with the McMahons or Levesque (HHH). Has he been on a 'Drug' run like R.V.D. and Sabu. Does he have a bad attitude back stage like Randy Ortan. Perhaps he's messed up some match results like Masters. What has he done wrong?

Or is his 'Major' push just round the corner and I'm getting a little ahead of myself.

Plus I know he's back with Charlie Haas currently and seemingly going backwards in WWE like Masters and Carlito.

Shelton is a great in ring talent but its his character that will not come over with the crowd, its so dull. I think he needs to improve alot on his mic skills, but then again people can only become so good on the mic, simply some are better than others.

Shelton was not working as a face, the crowd were just not reacting to him at all, so they turned him heel, and again, he could hardly generate any heat at all, people were just not bothered about shelton benjamin.
Now they are trying him out putting him together again with Haas, which again, I just cant see working, especially when you had DX, and Rated RKO on Raw.

Like I say I think its down to his character, not his in ring abilities, he has proven time and time again that he can put on a great show, hes had some great matches, people just don't see that he has a personality. When he used to come in with his 'moma' I though that was terrible.

If he's back with Haas then there won't be a push for Shelton anytime soon. Vince has a hard-on for big guys despite them having no wrestling talent, so don't expect Sheltons skills to mean he's an automatic shoe-in. The guy also doesn't seem to have made sufficient improvements in the areas in which he is lacking - mic work and personality. Without development in these areas he's an Intercontinental Champ/ Tag Champ at best

Ok you have good intentions but Shelton won't be the first World or WWE Champion because The Rock holds that title. But he is talented. He has to straighten up and start winning matches again before he can get any recognition for another belt. He is decent but he needs a few more years before he can hang with real competitors like Edge, Orton, Michael's, HHH, Jeff Hardy, etc.

I think Benjamin is a great wrestler. He looks good doing what he does. His moves arec rsip and he takes bumps very well. For some reason, I think the WWE is wasting his talent. They put him in horrible story lines and have banished him to being a mid-card his whole career. The thing where he was out there with his mom every match was just stupid. I agree that they should use him more and push him to the top.

When Shelton and charlie haas were together before as part of team angle, they were great and I really liked him, when they split up Shelton did really well but recently I feel like he has a major attitude problem and is really up himself. He's not got enough character to hold the belt yet.

I think that they are just in the mood of bringing back old tags teams like Brothers of Destruction, DX, and the Hardies. And I think that they are planning to get the tag gold.
