Mainly who would buy old newspapers in my hometown

You could check with a local college archive or the Newspaper itself-if it exists. If it is really rare and very old a museum may be interested. Be prepared though - usually there are plenty of copies in all of these places and if they don't have need of it you may need to approach an antique dealer to put it on consignment. Then ther is always EBay-loads of people there collect historical items and a newspaper would be really easy to ship. Hope this helps!
