Yes. Marshall Fields bought out Hudsons and then recently Macy's bought out Marshall Fields.

Yes. Marshall Fields was purchased by Macy's. I believe Federated Department Stores owns Macy's. Federated owns other retailers like Bloomingdales.

Yes, they changed Marshall Fields to Macys, even the one on State Street in Chicago. They didn't just change the name, they changed the store entirely...it's no better than a jc penney's now! Really disappointing. But I bet Carson's and Nordstrom's are loving all the former Field's shoppers they have now!
