Think of a ball and a flashlight. From any perspective you can only ever see half of the ball at once. Likewise, a flashlight can only illuminate half of the ball. If you're holding the flashlight, you illuminate all of the visible ball. Hold the flashlight out to your right side and the left side of the ball will begin to be in shadow. If the flashlight were on the opposite side of the ball, pointing at you, none of the ball would be illuminated. (the silhouette would be, btw, and this is a solar eclipse) If the flashlight were half-way around the ball from you (90 degrees) you only see half of the ball illuminated. The answer is b.

Now you only have A. and B. as your possible answers. IF, you not have help you still have a 50/50 chance of a correct answer just taking a guess.
Really try to remember this. You never know. One day you may not have Internet access and have to disarm a Bomb. If, you can eliminate 2 of 4 wires you have a 50/50 chance of survival. :-D
