My 2005 Elantra which used to give 28mpg now gives only 15-16 mpg in the city and abt 25mpg on the hwy. It has abt 32,000miles on it. Will a regular tune-up take care of this or is it a bigger trouble? Should I use premium fuel?

The Elantra is a tank when it comes to maintenance. It should be taken care of with a regular tune up and filter change. You should have a 100,000 mile warranty so just take it to the dealer and tell them to check everything.
