You need to know more about this 4108. Some have cast iron liners, some have chrome plated liners. You cannot fit rings designed for cast iron liners in chrome bores.
The liners are a press fit into the block and are usually fitted after being cooled in liquid nitrogen. This is not a job you can do in your backyard.
AE products do gasket sets and crank half bearing shell sets for the 4108. You can tell the shell size by looking at the back of the bearing, although you really need to measure the crank journals for ovality, taper and general condition before fitting new shells.

Edmunds Walker sell most parts for Perkins engines.

most perkins engines have cylinder liners that come as finished or unfinished that need boring to size both need a special tool to fit them they can be bored to oversize. the size of the piston is stamped on the crown ie std standard +10 +20 the size of the shell bearing are marked the same on the back. im sorry but i dont know where you are but if you need more info try contacting Hindle auto prouducts Bradford.they are the main perkins agents for the northwest of england hope this helps good luck dont bother with edmund walkers they went broke in 1999
