I'd like to bring into the discussion, Coach Chris Petersen of Boise State, who took a bunch of mostly local boys from a sparsely populated region and built a team that beat long-established Oklahoma, coached by Bob Stoopes. Boise State played a clean game, with heart and courage.
Urban Meyer has some skills but he's an immodest, driven guy with some head problems that need to be addressed. Pete Carroll is a fine coach but then, USC has fine talent, year after year. Chris Petersen is the guy to watch!

Callahan is sweet as lengthy gone on the end of the season. He sucked as a Raider coach and now he's dragging a achieveable homestead football team by way of the airborne dirt and dust. i doesn't be stunned in the experience that they interview Terry Bowden. he is going to be a coach someplace next three hundred and sixty 5 days. Tom Osborne can be a ideal ad for his or her software and get them lower back into the nationwide spotlight.

Pete Carroll just look at the guys he is putting into the NFL and his recruiting classes. He has had a top 1 or 2 recruiting class for like 5 years in a row.

Even this season for the 5 juniors he lost early his team did very well.

Meyer is hot on his trail though.

I'll throw Greg Schiano's name in the mix, just because I'm from Jersey and he brought the down-trodden Rutgers Scarlet Knights from nothing to a Top-15 ranking this year. Yes, they need to schedule tougher teams, but RU is no longer the butt of college football jokes.

Pete Caroll at USC. Just look at what he has done and for how long he has been doing it. From recruiting to winning the BCS Championship, Caroll has establishied a dynasty.
