My neighbours complaining of having a "bad headache" and they don't have health insurance so.......would the trusty Dewalt drillbit kit do the job? Ah, hypothetically ....of course...yeah; hypothetically!?!

I'm a firm believer in the home surgery kit. I, myself made my little brother a home vasectomy kit for his 25th birthday since condoms didnt seem practical for him.
I included things like a magnifying glass, tweezers, xacto knife, elastic band, needle, thread, bandaid... oh and an instruction booklet. Luckily, most of the items were easily found at the dollar store, (here in Peel Village*) saving me a bundle! So, I would say, SURE substitute away as needed.

I think trepanning would be a great idea. It's right up there with Monty Python's sketch on how to remove your own appendix on the tube.

I don't think the DeWalt drill is rated for trepanning. Sorry.
