A friend of mine who's son is allergic to wheat has just discovered corn pasta. You can get it at your health food stores...her son who's almost three can finally eat spaghetti!

If you go to http://www.glutenfreeforum.com there are tons of gluten-free food ideas for kids. There are over 12 thousand registered members on that message board and so many people with kids who eat GF.
My two kids (ages 3 and 4) and I are gluten-free. My kids' favorite GF foods are:
Cool Ranch Doritos
Cheetos
M&M's (all but crispy)
Carrots
Cheese
Easy Cheese (the spray cheese) on GF crackers. The bacon flavor of Easy cheese has gluten in it, so stay away from that one. Easy Cheese is always good on celery too.
Peanut butter on GF crackers or on celery
Someone already mentioned the GF pasta - Tinkyada brand is always a good bet. It doesn't fall apart like some brands.
Some good, easily found brands of really good GF foods are:
Pamela's products http://www.pamelasproducts.com/ - I'm not a fan of their pre-made stuff, but their pancake mix and their wheat free bread mix are both really good. I order their bread mix by the case. My kids and I go through 2-3 loaves of it a week. It's my favorite GF bread.
Gluten-Free Pantry has another very popular GF bread called Favorite Sandwich Bread. It's one of the top two easily-found breads. They also have wonderful brownies and angel food cake. Pie crust too.
The best advice is to come to the message board I mentioned.

Health food stores, and even some grocery stores, now carry gluten free products! [mmmm chocolate!] - they make everything from gluten free Fruit loops to chocolate bars to cookies!
You can also buy gluten free flour and make some of your own goodies.
For ready to buy products you could easily do tacos - without the shell [go taco salad!], fruit salad, etc.

Go to wheatfreediet.com. they sell all kinds of foods that are gluten free. i think they might have recipes too. the items they sell are a little expensive, but i found it worth it. its better then spending the whole day at the store reading lables.
