Cancun is great for clubbing and parting and getting really drunk
if she is going on her honeymoon i would say go to Cabo it is more quiet and romantic ,the landscapes are great , the hotels are really good , the food is great and there are a lot of activities like snorkeling and scuba diving , the corals are so beautiful

Cabo, bar none!
I've been to Cabo, Cancun and Cozumel. The only way I'd go back to Cancun is if I felt like hanging out with a bunch of drunk, underage Americans. (Sorry, but it is true).
Cabo is much more laid back and a great place to just relax, eat, drink, fish... just enjoy life. And it isn't as crowded as Cancun can be.
If I wanted to stay on the Caribbean side, I would stay in Cozumel instead of Cancun. It is more serene and the snorkeling is awesome!
