You better buy 1. Because you have to charge it by plugging it in your computer. You have to put songs through your iPod. So you definitely need a computer.

Yup.. you need either a laptop or a regular desk computer in order to load songs onto your Ipod.. You can not load songs onto it without the Itunes software disk that comes with your Ipod..

That is the only way I have used the Ipod, by downloading through my computer.(limewire.com)

OF COURSE..... well you get a charger that has to be plugged to the computer to charge. and also for songs you need iTunes and A COMPUTER!!
