why do ppl who play WoW think it is better than any other game in the real world ?

I bought this game for my son and got to watching, it seemed like fun. Thats how I got hooked. I found there are plenty of others who play. It a great way for teens to stay off drugs and away for them to hang and have safe fun. I found this was a good way to spend time with my sons. Even the one who lives out of state we stay in touch this way.
Besides u can play with people from all over the world. Other players will help you with quests and help you lvl up. It will depend on who u ask about the game. You will find those who don't like the game.

Because it is? I say this because who wants to play a game in real life where you get hurt and have pain? While I no longer play WoW I found it alot funner then playing foot ball (used to do) and getting kicked,punched...etc playing it. So in all the game is alot better.

Let me guess- you have a significant other who is an addict. It's a stupid game and people get WAY too wrapped up in it. I don't know how they can sit there for like 8-10 hours at a time without eating playing that stupid game. Sorry. I'm a little bitter.

expandability and replay capability ... the game's possibilities are endless as far as things you can do ... less boundaries than any other game with unlimited growth potential ... if you could imagine yourself as a sports player or martial artist that could prove himself better than every other player or artist on the world (battlegrounds/pvp) and then continue to grow and learn during and afterwards (pve), but only in a gamers prospective ... + you can do it from the comfort of your computer + you don't have to save + warcraft vets from previous blizzard games are innumerable so brand/plot/character loyalty is involved + amazing battle interface ... i think thats all i have for now :)
