It has a high level of interactivity within a game setting. It is as close to getting into the actual setting you can find. Being able to play a game and come across people you know or do not know and have a conversation with before heading back out to do a quest. True there are other games you can do this with, but that is a fixed setting. How WoW is a open world and able to do many quests, join guilds, have expansion packs to keep refreshed and new content. Star Wars Galaxies was great, still is, but ever since they made it easier for new players and messed with how easy it is to level up and all that some people who been with it in the beginning lost love for it.

Because it is? I say this because who wants to play a game in real life where you get hurt and have pain? While I no longer play WoW I found it alot funner then playing foot ball (used to do) and getting kicked,punched...etc playing it. So in all the game is alot better.
