Great question-
In the late 1970's I was at a New York Islander game against the California Golden Seals.
The Islanders had 2 hat tricks in the game!!! They won by a score of 10-1 over the Seals.
I can remember the excitement of the crowd!
They were scored by Ed Westfall and Billy McMillan!!!
How often do you get to see 2 hat tricks in one game??!!!!
It was a night I'll never forget!

This year, the home-opener between the Devils and Maple Leafs. The Devils were down 6-3 going into the 3rd period and Brian Gionta scores three friggin goals, the last one with :38 left to tie the game. I'd say right now that was my favorite hockey game (live) EVER. If you've ever watched a game at Continental Airlines Arena, you know it's rarely packed, so it was a great experience with a packed house.

Owen Nolan's trick in the 1997 All-Star Game at San Jose. Nolan was a huge fan favorite back then. On his third goal, he called his shot, and lifted a wrister past Dominik Hasek right over his shoulder, exactly where he pointed. The arena went nuts! It was the best in my mind (and keep in mind I am a Pittsburgh Penguins fan, so I was treated to watch in person the likes of Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Kevin Stevens, Alex Kovalev, Sidney Crosby, etc. ) because I have never seen anyone call his shot for a goal.

Sergei Fedorov...
I think he may have had all 4 goals in a 4-3 overtime win over Winnipeg.....
Obviously that was a long ime ago, so I could be way off...

And No, I didn't have a hat on....and I was up in the nosebleeds anyway.

edit: oops I was way off....at least it started with a W....it was against Washington, and he had all 5 goals in a 5-4 win....it was Dec. 26th and he was my favorite player...I remember thinking what a great Xmas present!

i am going to keep it short and pick 2: a million) my first hockey pastime. I keep in options steeping out and being amazes at each of the seats. The ice become larger than I had pictured. and the gamers were so close! 2) pastime 7, Stanley Cup finals 2004. I wasnt honestly contained in the construction for the Lightnings historic win (outstanding, i comprehend. being the large Bolts fan i'm) We were out contained in the plaza, and that i keep in options the finals seconds basically being finished insanity. human beings shaking up beer cans and throwing all of them over the position.
