Who would you push it for the most?

The more you listen then the more you learn but, I would have to say I would mute my husband when he starts talking about his job. He is an IT professional and you can only talk so much about motherboards and processors before it gets boring.

My parents, the execs. upstairs who say the office is open when today is a snowy day/ holiday/ or a day of mourning (like Ford's death) and do not give employees enough vacation time to take off every Friday (or Monday), work building alerts (emergency fire drills or false alarms), and security (who inspect your bags, portables, and cameras - maybe your coat and shoes; e.g.: at airports). But it would need to have an "off" control.

i think listening is a major part of life and i would mute anything out apart from someone Else's crying baby if it was my own i would think there is something up and i would be glad i heard it to try and help my child

King Midas had a wish that everyting he touches turns to Gold and his daugter ran up to him and hugged him and she turned to Gold.
He cried and cired and wished he had never had the opportunity to have all the Gold he wanted.
So the Moral here is no. I prefer to talk than mute.

everyone. I am all that I want to hear mostly. I do like to hear Joel Olsteen and my children. I would not mute them.

mostly my cats. They just keep shouting meows at me. Also, for a couple of co-workers that should just shut up once a day at least!
