how much does it cost to become a masseuse?

I am interested in becoming a masseuse, but i cant seem to find out how much it costs. Is there anyone here who knows? And is it a rewarding career, mentally and financially?

My mom took some classes and got certifications. Now she rents a room in a salon and makes ok money. It is her second carreer so I'm sure she would make more if it was full time. She meets a lot of interesting people and hears some cool stories.
