i have taken 1 test and it was negative! but am swollen in lower abdomin light headedness

Maybe & maybe not. First take another test. If it says negative again or even if its positive this time, still go to the doctor. Thats really the best way to be sure girl. And a swollen abdomen with a negative pregnacy test doesn't sound healthy. So hopefully you are pregnant. If not hopefully its nothin really bad. So good luck!

With 2 kids, I never had a positive urine test. I'm not impressed with them. There are several conditions that your symptoms could be caused by, pregnancy among them. The safest bet is to see your doctor. They can rule out infection, ectopic pregnancy and other possibilities, and can authorize a blood pregnancy test. The blood test actually measures the level of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in the blood, and can date a pregnancy within about two weeks or so. But I think your doctor will be the key to figuring this out. Good luck, and good health!

You might be pregnant but you also might have an infection of some sort. It's really hard to tell in the early stages. Wait a week and if you still haven't had a period do another test. Sometimes there isn't enough of the pregancy hormone to trigger the test in the early days.

My gf took test two weeks ago and that came back negative, since then she has every textbook pregnancy symptom for early stages anyway - Swollen abdomin, headaches and nausea, dizziness, food cravings (spicy food), breast swollen and harder, very moody, high body temp etc.
Doctor has done high sensitivty pregnancy test yesterday, awaiting outcome.
Period due now, not here as yet.
Wait until your late then test or see doctor.

Home tests are generally very accurate. Take 1 more test and if it's negative go and see your doctor. There could be another reason for your symptoms.

If the test was negative always get a second opinion. Also you need to go to the doctor, it could be something else. i had stomach problems and had to have emergency surgery. Don't play with this, get checked,ASAP.

that isnt a usual symptom of pregnancy, usually it would be sickness or swollen boobs or something like that. You dont actually show for months yet. Your prob having period pains- you'll come on in a week or so.... if not then do another test

Go make an appointment with your doctor and tell them what is going on. They can take another pregnancy test to see and do more testing.

my 1st two tests were negative then a week later it was positive, the light headiness could be a sign and you could feel swollen as if your period was due, you may even feel a little cramping too.
