Was it that Saddam had WMD's, was it the lie about never hearing about terrorists using planes to hit buildings on a massive scale, was it mission accomplished, that the Patriot act was only for terrorists or something else. Or are you of the view that the Bush administration has never lied to the people of our nation

I'd have to say the lie when they said there was no warning for 9/11. That was the worst.

I think the biggest lie involves the reasons to go to war in Iraq as a whole. I believe that Bush and Co. knew the intel was bad, and possibly even manipulated it to serve as an acceptable reason to the people of the United States to attack Iraq. We'll hear more about this during the next two years, finding out the truth about this is one of the main matters being investigated by Congress. Taking a shot in the dark, I'll guess that Powell knew it too, and it was why he was so obviously uncomfortable in front of the UN and why he just couldn't remain associated with this Administration. Don't be shocked if we see him testify to this sometime over the next two years.

Not a lie per se but the biggest and most costly deception was that Iraq and Saddam were tied to 9/11. At one point 70% of Americans believed this and I'm sure some significant percentage of the population believes it....

One of the biggest lies is: "We will be going into Iraq with decisive force to get the job done quickly". and then he goes into Iraq with 1/3 to 1/2 of what the Generals recommended.

Strike that was great. Bush may be misinformed sometimes but I think he tells less lies than most politicians. AL Gore invented the internet. The Dems pretend that they did not vote to send troops to Iraq. I didn't have relations with that woman.

I think the biggest lie was; "I will get the Democrats to reach across party lines and work with us for the good of the country".

How dare he promise such a thing. Who does he think he is? If they won't do it for God and country, why would they do it for him?
