Which ones do you think are most popular? Might buy them as a gift as am looking for help to know why and which ones.

Seven Jeans are (were) popular not only because celebrities were seen wearing them, but because they were designed *specifically* to create a lifting visual effect on the derriere. This is one of the reason that celebrities were were wearing them. While they are made out of an atypical fabric, they are highly durable and do not show signs of wear.
On another note, if you are ready to drop some ca$h for fashion, go with True Religions..they are hot!

A lot of famous people were photographed in them, so people thought they were better than other jeans. Frankly, I think the quality is questionable (the fabric is thin), they are sized really small (if you ahve a butt or hips, forget it!) and they are overpriced. Look into jeans at J.Crew, Banana Republic and the Gap. I've always found the quality to be good and the prices are better. In addition, you have a variety of fit options available to you.

They are so popukar because a lot of famous people used to have them, but now the new in jeans are true religions which can run about the same price. I like the A pocket jeans and I would get the bootcut ones.

Seven jeans are so overrated now. I really hate seeing Seven jeans on guys, too. I think it looks feminine on them.
