When I was very young I got to see the old children's movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I loved it. It starred Dick Van Dyke as far as I can remember. I was wondering if any of you had seen it. Wasn't ti so good? I don't normally enjoy musicals but I loved this one!

I used to love the movie when I was little. I was so surprised when I was reading a James Bond book and saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang under the list of Ian Fleming's novels. You know I hardly remember the music. I remember the Grandpa lived in an outhouse or something?

It was great, and is still on occasionally. Quite a fantasy ride by none other than the creator of James Bond, Ian Fleming.

Benny Hill was in the movie as well.

i have it. Some parts are cute, like the Baroness fainting when Jeremy and Jeremiah say she is ugly, or the song "Truly Scrumpous" or the quote that after Craticus kisses Truly then they have to get married. Some parts I just fast forwarded because the movie is so long and they weren't my favorite scenes anyway.

Great movie (especially for keeping kids entertained on a rainy day). I love the "Child Catcher". He used to scare the c*ap out of me as a kid.

Yes, but it has been a long time, it is silly and fun though, share it with the family on family movie night. Pass it down.

Yes, I remember that movie. You know who else was in that movie? Benny Hill...lol. It wasn't a big part, but he was in there.
