6 Cumberland rings 3 days passed their sell by date that have been stored in a fridge VERSUS 24 Chippolata`s freshly bought but been left on a sunny window sill for a bit. Both teams can use weaponry, but only stuff they can find in a cupboard that`s nominated by an independant rasher of bacon. Bacon is famous for it`s impartiallity

I would say the Cumberland sausages will win, the chipolata can wrap themselves in bacon if they like but it won't win them the battle against the meaty and mighty Cumberland.

Not really an answer first off but this is one of the funniest questions I have heard in a long time. Especially the bacon impartiality, icing on the cake.

But Im with the dried up chipolata's. Skin is tougher you see. The Cumberlands, although very herby, have been in arctic like conditions for at least three days reducing their body temperature and this will strongly reflect in their reaction speeds. Only a 'wild boar and forest fruits' sausage could stand that sort of endurance test.

CHIPOLATA'S ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The chippolatas will be hot and tired so the cold cumberland would probably be able to form a circle round them and close in, but,if a couple of chippolata could sneak out and employ the help of a couple of tough eggs and some sifty flour they could dredge them from behind throw them in the fryer and the cumberland would be battered.
I'm soooo sad!

No contest! Conceptually, Cumberland Sausage is a great improvement on anything which even remotely resembles a Furry Frankfurter, especially wishy washy weaners with a history of windowsill exposure.

I think the chipolatas, armed with salt rock grenades and ketchup cannons aswell. Their size would mean they are agile and quick to respond. I'm thinking the Cumberlands would be large and well to be honest a bit bumbling.

You know, I cannot believe this is occupying my thoughts.

ID WRAP THE BACON AROUND AS MANY OF THE CHIPPOLATA BOYS, THEN OVEN THEM WITH ROSEMARY AND HONEY. SERVE EM UP WITH CRANBERRY SAUCE AND TELL THE CUMBERLAND BOYS TO BRING THEIR MATES.
