yesterday i noticed i have a lump on my lower neck on the back and i was just wondering if anyone new what would of caused that. it wasnt there 2 days ago, but last night i noticed it. and it is sore when i move my neck or touch it. i do have high blood pressure, i was thinking maybe it was stress related, but i wasnt sure, so i thought i would get some advice from others.

its could be a sebaceous cyst see your GP and get reffered to your local hospital they are very common and can be removed under a local anesthetic it takes about 30 Min's and if you require stitches they come out in 7-10 days they care caused by small bits of tissue that break off and form a lump they can get bigger the biggest Ive seen was the size of a tennis ball! sometimes they can go on there own but its always best to get it checked out by a doctor.

It sounds like a cyst or boil. Normally, boils have to be lanced by a doctor and cysts have to be removed surgically. Neither is harmful.

Boils are very sensitive and appear in a relatively short period of time.

Alsways take these concerns to your doctors, but it could be that you have swollen glands...And it could also mean you are experiencing blockage of some sort...I would get an appointment, and follow through...It's nothing to fool with...

I guess a sebaceous cyst. Everyone gets them.

LET IT COME TO A HEAD----THEN SQUEEZE OR LANCE IT TO REMOVE THE PUS......RINSE WITH ALCOHOL
