everytime I try to change my color deph, it ask me to restart my computer and when I do, it goes back to the other color deph? Any answers?

Sounds like some sort of conflict with the graphics card maybe?

1. You may not have a display card that will go to the deeper color depth.
2. Some other program may be setting the depth, like a utility program that came with the computer or card, and you may be trying to change it in Windows, and the other program may be resetting it every time the computer is turned on.
Are we talking about a PC compatible? Brand and what change are you making?

The video drivers are corrupted

or (unlikely) the Video card has failed.

Re install the video drivers

This is hard to tell how to do here. Try

Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Display Adapters > Driver > Update or Roll Back driver

You're video card may only be able to handle a certain resolution. The better the card, the higher the res.
