I like CSI Miami but that Horation in CSI Miami is bit annoying. He pause when he talks, here is example "Evidence........(the pause for 10 sec) will speak for itself" What a dumb a s s!! He takes his sunglasses off and put it back on. Then why take it off to begin with? He never looks straight, he always looks at 90 degree angel. He is stupid, who hired him?

I don't watch the show because of him. He thought after one year on NYPD Blue he would become a big movie star, I guess not.

I love the whole CSI franchise, but it took me a while to get use to him. Grissoms smart, Mac has that hard military edge, and Horatio has his quirks, that have already been mentioned in the above answers.

I expect him to break character, take off his glasses, look at the camera, and say: "You know, I'm David Caruso. I played a cop on NYPD Blue, so I'm...qualified...to do CSI. Enjoy this...episode." (Puts glasses back on).
For what it's worth, he's not all that bad. He's just David Caruso.

My boyfriend pointed all that out awhile back and since he drew my attention to it I can't hardly stand to watch that show anymore...I don't know if I just never payed attention to it or if he's gotten much worse over time and wasn't always that way, but you are right and it drives me nuts!!

He speaks slowly and deliberately and...annoyingly.
Mostly I think he's thinking "I beat you Trapper John...it took 15 years but I finally got another tv show"
