i saw a special on 20/20 on who gives more during the holidays? I give when ever I can. I am not rich by no means..I am a single mother 4 boys, but only 2 of them live with me know..they other 2 are grown up and out in the world make it there own..When I see a kettle or a donation cup..I donate when ever it allows me..I was with my wealthly aunt one day..she almost had a heart attack, she couldn't believe I gave my spare change to the needy..He reaction got me startled..Who gives me..?? According to the TV series 20/20..the poor..yep me.. I don't give to make anyone else feel bad, I give cause maybe one day, I'll need that change..woukld you give me that spare change in your pocket ?

The Poor gives the most I think
The rich is to rich to give- as stupid as that sounds
the middle class is trying to get rich

I believe the poor give more. We know what it is like to be in a hard way, and try to help others avoid that. So whenever possible I do as much as I can. The rich donate for tax purposes, the poor donate for empathy, the middle class....because it looks bad if they dont', lol.

Bless you.. Yes the poor gives more. I belive you have heard of the widdows mite. She only had a few pennies but she gave all she had. So do you think the rich gives a dollar and you give all you have, the rich gave more. I don't think so..I wish there were more like you..

Bill Gates will give away more in his life than all the poor Americans combined. The rich give far more away. Obviously.
I know it would be nice and cuddly to think that the poor give more (even in proportion to their income) but they simply don't and couldn't.

If we take what is given in proportion to what one has, then the poor who is generous gives more. It is also quite easy to give if one is with abundance or has enough but it is much harder to give when one has less.
