world of warcraft i need rogue help?

just started a new character a rogue and is level 10 right now. just wanted to know what the best way to fight with a rogue is. like the order of attacks and stuff. also, do u guys think that they are better than hunters for going out and killing horde by urself?

Well people always compare rogues to hunters..I dont really see why. But I think rogues are a good way to kill horde solo. For one unless its a warlock/human its hard to see a rogue without some item helping you. And I dont know for level 10 but most rogues start off with a really high crit/dmg move or cheapshot. Then used kidney shot when you can and always stun when you can and try to stay behind them.

Rogues have alot more advantages on a PvP server than a hunter, stealth being the name one lets you choose when you want to surprise the enemy.

As for order of combat in PvP I almost always open up with Cheap shot.

I'm a hemorrage rogue for PvP with some purples.

So my combat goes:

Cheapshot, hemorage, hemorage or Gouge (Depends if I got 2 or 3 points from cheapshot). Once you use Gouge I normally wait until there is .5 seconds left on it before I use the next ability just to regenerate some energy.

At this point it depends on what I"m fighting, Mages, Warlocks I just cold blood + eviserate.

Priests, Hunters, Rogues I attempt to stunlock.

Warriors Paladins, Shamans, I lower their AC and then just pound them down with various CC abilities (gouge, kidney shot, vanish cheap shot etc)

Against a monster its different:

Against a caster I use cheapshot to build fast combo points and use Eviserate for heavy damage.

Against High armor targets I open up with Garrote, build to 5 combo points to add my other bleed closer (Whose name escapes me at the moment)

If your a dagger rogue then you just want to keep gouging / kidney shotting and moving behind the mob to backstab (I hate this method the most)

As for leveling fast or well Combat is the best tree to level with, as its not situational or positional damage, and focuses on increasing your white damage (non special)
