Democrats haven't had an original idea since JFK stood up to the soviets.

They want to withdraw, according to everything they said and are saying but the reality is they don't have the power to do anything about how or when it is done. Even cutting off the money - which they can do- really can't for all practical reasons be done - the "commander and chief" has the power to redirect moneys from other areas of the government to make up for anything the two houses do with the funding for the war.....and they know that. It is you and the rest of the population that has to speak out in order to change things.

I'd be ok with sending in more troops if we had more of a clear plan of withdrawal. For instance, we will increase with x amount of troop, accomplish directives a, b, and c, and then begin to remove troops by x amount in time frame y.

Thats what I gather, yet Bush got rid of Rumsfeld and changing strategies as they requested and its still not good enough. No matter what the man does, hes down graded for it.But the one I really like is how the left supports our troops yet their anti military colors are surfacing seeing they are going to fight funding additional troops.Obviously they want to undermine the Presidents attempts to get this war over with and get our boys home.

No. Most Dems want to start downsizing our efforts there; but then again you and your ilk would mischaracterize that as "cut and run", right?
