I looked up a survey of which people are happiest, Iceland came first! So Iceland. UK came 10th and US 13th. Switzerland came first for life satisfaction, they are neutral, keep themselves to themselves. There are loads of different things on my link including crime and employment have a look. I wouldn't wanna move out of Europe though. I don;t agree with the death penalty, the us is quite a violent country with a big murder rate. I think it is a cool country, what with the music, the scenery, the movies, loads of good points but it's just the murder rate that scares me. Saying that Australia and New Zealand seam a good option, better weather than the UK too, but they are in the commonwealth so their government and laws are kind of the same. Oh and Canada too, I never hear a bad word about them!

No problem. Financially, culturally, militarily, it's the USA. By the way, I'm not an American. Britain held that position roughly up to the end of the 19th century, and then we became kind of arrogant (in a nice British way) got kind of stale, took it all for granted, and lost it. But for our size, that was a fantastic, and unrivalled, achievement! Inevitably, I think America will go the same way. Next up, its going to be China. They have already taken over all our chip shops! I'm only joking, for Gawds sake!
