What is your complaint for? If you are only alleging that the PD did a "bad job" defending your case then you are most likely just wasting your time. Even if he did a Horrible Job defending you that is not enough to be actionable. You have to be able to show that he intentionally sabatoged your case or messed it up.

how can I file a complaint against a public defender for my son she gave personal information to a lady about the case who wasn't his mother Ive called and left messages for her and her supervisor since last week and no phone call has been returned the judge ordered her to visit my son still no visit I'm trying to see what could be done about this situation she already violated my son rights as it is
