i was thinking of starting my own business, but not sure what the hours should be...

you considering horning in on my street corner outside of my business hours? as long as you stay away from my turf, i'll give you a few tips....darkness. work when it's dark out, it contributes to the confidentiality factor. and be consistent, always work the same nights, that enhances the availability factor (your customer will come to know what to expect) and if things start off slow, don't be discouraged....remember, those quarters really DO add up. most importantly, stay offa my street.....

I would say 6 pm is a good time to start although business tends to pick up around 9 then again around 1 am when the bars are closing down.
