have 100ml water ,spoon borax then mix it take 2cm glue in diffrent small plastic cup then put on spoon of water and borax in glue then roll it

That fun goo (I usually add some dish soap too) has one property they we sometimes associate with polymers – plasticity. It can stretch and take a shape. Then be molded into another shape. This type of behavior is indicative that the atoms or molecules are networked together in someway.

Metals can do this also correct? We don’t call that behavior plasticity, rather we use words like ductility or malleability. These are better (and more historical) terms for metals. How is a metal different from a polymer like plastic?
