Gorilla Glue expands when it's dried and makes it VERY difficult to work with. (I strip and refinish old funiture and rebuild antiques). I have tried other kinds of glue, but have found none that out - last the current GG. Although, I don't think that it holds a decent amount of time either. It crumbles. Do you have any ideas?

I have tried finger nail polish remover, go - jo, paint thinner, mineral spirits, gasoline ......
My nails break constantly and look like crap - I would like a little dignity, and not walk around w/brown junk on them too.

Try lighter fluid. It dissolves gum, adhesive, removes paint, whatever. It's better than paint thinner. Also you may want to invest in those throw away gloves. You can buy a box of them w/ like 50 or 100 in it. 5 maybe 7 bucks. You can even get bags of them with like 10 in at the dollar store. Then you just take them off and you don't have to worry about your hands. But I will warn you. The fingers will stick together. Gorilla glue is not easy to work with. You should try something like a popsicle stick or something to work it around with. Maybe even a wet rag. That stuff works great but its nasty to work with. Lots of luck.

gorilla glue is honestly the best wood working glue out there. as far as getting it off of your hands, go to the GG website and there should be information on how to remove it.

Try peanut butter. I know it works great on pine pitch. It takes a minute and you have to really work it in but it works on the pine pitch. Let me know if it works
