Theoretically the Song Thrushes would win, iff they use a surgical air strike at low elevation say <5cm. If, however, the dormice were able wake up in time to call on the telephone for Sparrow Hawk back up, the Thrushes may be changing their song, saying Rats! Their only chance then, would be, if the Sparrow Hawks overshot their dive angle and killed the dormice with "friendly fire."
The best advice, since non of the combatants are attack trained, is to leave it up to special forces to battle it out, for example, the Queen's Own Raptors and the 1st Mountain Shrews.

The thrushes, they could fly above the dormice and just drop the yoyo's on them. However the dormice could find a room full of telephones and use the jumpers as camo. It would be pretty even.

the song thrushes, although outnumbered they have weapons that mean they don't need t get close to the dormice. Also a sleepy dormouse in a big jumper will not be able to move fast enough to dodge the onslaught.

If sleepy dormice had worked out how to make jumpers out of telephones, I'd say they could see off any opposition.

Theoretical questions of this sort (At the peak of their form, could Joe Louis beat Mike Tyson?) provide a means for people to have a bit of fun and to express opinions.

I believe that we will have to rent Madison Square Garden and bring in the finches and mice to settle this definitively.

lol, wot a question! I would say thrushes, simply because they are armed and can fly, the sleepy mice have no chance.
