yes, this life enables you to ponder over such questions and find real answers. What you think as a human being, what should be the aim of life? It is the solution of these questions and going beyond sorrow and joy so that you are not affected by these things. It is the purpose of life. You must know your real nature in order to go beyond sorrow and joy.
One very eminent person gave me this teaching. You see, in this world you have to learn two things. How to live and how to die.
To learn living you must achieve two things
Freedom from disease or complete health
seeing yourself as a friend of every one else.
To learn how to die, you must achieve the ability to leave this body peacefully. You should not be forcefully expelled from this body when it becomes unable to sustain the life processes. This hurts a lot.
All this is a challenge, accept it and you will get the meaning in life. This can only be done by you, "the human being".

We are fooling ourselves if we thing that only good things will happen in our lives.
Of course this life is worth living though, even with the bad, really bad things that happen. You learn through your mistakes, and things that happen to us everyday. You may not know it, but you also teach things to people everyday.
Yeah the bad things really suck, but the good makes up for it. I mean, the birth of a new baby, seeing your loved ones happy, being happy yourself. There are so many things that make life worthwhile.
I think that the aim of life is just to live up to our full potential everyday. Appreciate what we have, and be able the appreciate the beauty in every day.

Life is a warm quick nap and death is a long cold sleep . Enjoy it as much as you can . And if every ones aim in life were to leave their children in a situation where they are better off , and not financially but with better tools to go through life , than you , and each following generation do the same the world would be a great place someday

of course life is full of good and bad things, the joy and happiness we feel when good things happen is the reason for living. the bad things give us sorrow and that's when we hope for good things unless we go through the bad phase we do not appreciate good things in life. the aim of life should be to enjoy life each day as a special one ,be balanced .don't be too headstrong when good things r happen and learn to take bad things too with a pinch of salt and not get too depressed. that's what i think.

Bad things are good things. reason ? good things are good because life consciously chooses a good mix of both the opposites. . so that it passes through the tougher condtioning to become better suited, daunt-less, more lively and joyous weathering the tumultuous and the smootth runs by turns. Rugged but rounded life is more livable both just because of the tribulations and as also inspite of them. A stereotype goodness all the way could also give rise to sickening feelings of empty nothing ness.

I believe that life is very much worth living even through the bad and good. It is what makes us learn and become stronger. In my 37 years of being here in this life I have learned so much. More as I get older and from having my own family. I wouldn't trade anything in my life and I try to be thankful

I'll quote Dr. Seuss:
"I am I
And though I may not know why
I know I am I
Three cheers I am I"
And so, I am I, and while I don't know why I'm here, it doesn't really matter does it? I'm probably never going to find out, so I'll make up my own reason. I'm here to become a doctor, to save lives. If that's right or wrong according to the original reason for my existence, I don't really give a damn! If there were someone somewhere who put me here for a reason, then just didn't tell me what that reason was, screw 'em. I'll do I want to.

life is worth living! all the opposites that u say r just 2 sides of a coin. there cant b only good things. life'll bcum borin.
the aim of life is 2 achieve a state where u live in harmony with the universe. u no y u have all ur problems? its bcause u r contradictin the rules of the universe. probs try 2 push u 2 obey them. wen u start followin the rules of life, u'll have peace n happiness. wen u achieve this u'll no wat ur called to do in life. i'm honestly not jokin. no, i have not achieved it yet but it does take time. its a long n diff path though its worth it. how 2 achieve that state? the ans has always been. its the well known age old sayings like evil can only b overcum by good or hate with love n selflessness. do wat u no is right not wat is easy. i also suggest spendin sum time with nature every morning. clear your mind n just enjoy its beauty. its spendin time with god n u'll find ans to ur most pressin Qs. this atleast i have done n i give u my guarantee that it works.

You are giving to much thought into a simple thing. It's just life, live it. The more time you spend trying to understand the meaning of life, the more time you'r losing of experiencing it to the fullest. Live for the moment and die in peace.

A stupid question posed while living. Good-bad, happy-sorrow etc are relative depends on the time and place. For ex: in summer you feel hot in Rajasthan but not in Shimla. In winter one feels the cold unbearable in Shimla. Who is to be blamed the place or the season or the person who experiences. It all depends on how one takes it. One has no control on the place and season but definitely on himself. If one can see all alike he lives his life as it comes. He does not value it in any terms.
