Pick it up and look for ID. If none, I would turn it over to the police.........

Try to find the owner. If no luck,then hand it in to police. I have actually had my purse stolen out of my handbag and I assure you it is a pain in the a r s e. I have also found a wallet before and handed it in. the guy who owned it was so grateful! It had a bit of money in it. And no I didn't keep any of the money,it would've been wrong. And I'm the type of person that if I do something wrong it comes back to bite me in the bum.

pick it up and see if there is anything in it. if there is a ID, then try to find the person and give it back. if there isn't an ID, still try to find the person and give it back. if there is absolutely nothing in the wallet but $5, give it to church in the offering and donate the wallet to habitat for humanity.

Find the owner of the wallet and double whatever money he had in it before returning it.
Just to show that there is still good in mankind.

Look through it, find out who the owner is. Contact them if possible and ask them a ton of questions, just to confirm they are the right full owner. Then give it back.

Take it, look around if somebody isn't looking for it. Then see if there is an ID and if there isn't - put it in my pocket (if there are any money, of course ;)

i'd take it if he has more than 20 bucks, if not i guess i would return it to whoever it says on the id
