A janitor wouldn't usually have to show off their "cleaning skills" but would have to show an ability to be responsible, as they are often alone in offices when no one is there. I would think they would need to have experience with cleaning but obviously that is something you don't need a degree for, but not all cleaning people have the same level of ability. Since it is a very low paying, unglamorous job, obviously there wouldn't be a very intense hiring process. Dependability, honesty and a good work ethic would be probable requirements. You would be surprised by home many CEOs of companies do not have those three things that many janitors do. Hey, where would we be without janitors!

lol
well a janitor i know said he either worked in sanitation or some type of house keeping job. some work in construction first. but many janitors are just hired on the spot and are told to prove themselves on the job. sometimes if they dont do it well they are given anther chance and if they dont prove themselves they are fired.

Same thing everyone else does in an interview - talk about their qualifications and previous experience.

You obvously think you are superior to the rest of us -
so what do you do for a living, hmm?

Oh take pity on me, I am but a lowly mortal who doesn't spend my life on Yahoo answers. Please spell out your insult for me in plain English so I can understand your wisdom, oh goddess of clever insults and accounts payable!

I'm sorry, I didn't hear the question. I noticed your wastebucket was full and that you spilled some cofee on the floor.
