After I have my period and after intercourse I have a foul odor. Very bothersome. What is this?

No offence....but if you have your partner saliva all over your body...get it wash....cos saliva does leave foul odor. i took a fast shower every after sex. don't believe me...try licking you hand and leave it for a while and then smell it!! As for foul odor after period. I think it is quite normal. If you like, take a flower bath and cleanse the genital area.....or just simply avoid taking to much garlic:)))))))

Sounds like bacterial vaginitis whatever. I had it and it is caused by an imbalance. Have recently been on antibiotics and gotten a yeast infection. See the way my gyno explained it is you get sick and take antibiotics then you get a yeast infection well to fix the yeast growth you take medicine that kills the yeast well bacteria begins to grow b/c you vagina is supposed to have a balance of yeast and bacteria. If one or the other gets unbalanced then your screwed. For yeast infections I suggest eating yogurt and taking these vitamins called acidolphilus. For the bacterial infection I suggest eating grapefruit and taking a bath in vinegar which seems to help. Change your underwear often. Dont use douches my gyno told me.

Sounds like Bacterial Vaginosis to me. I had the same thing it is caused by a hormonal imbalance down their...Just go to your doctor and they will prescribe you some antibiotics and you should be taken care of..You might also want to get checked for other sexually tansmitted diseases just to be on the safe side. good luck!

Have you tried douching w/vinegar & water...Massengil or Summer's Eve??....can use it before & after intercourse.....shouldn't use it during your period.........definitely afterwards............Try sitting in warm baths more often also so the water could get up in there. Also, my mother used to tell me that it's good to wear dresses or skirts instead of wearing pants all the time so that some air get up in there too. But it's good that you don't have any other symptoms though. But you should further discuss this w/your GYN doctor. Best of luck to you!!

i had the same thing and my doctor told me there is two different reasons for it and one is your have a baterial infection which you could go to wal-mart and get some medicine that is by the condoms that is called MICONAZOLE its a cream. and the second reason would be that either you or your partner has sex with someone else. Hope this helps.

Yeah, sounds like a bacterial infection. Go to the doctor to make sure. These infections are caused by over douching according to my doctor. I never douch and he didn't believe me cuz I get those infections like twice a year. Idiot! Anyways, just go to the doc to make sure!

well to be honest if you just gert a shower after it you body should smell normal if not be worried coz if anythink turns a guy off its weird smells
