In the modern NFL the Browns are just a cling-on football team with no realprospects. Teams such as the Houston Texans have a big future ahead of them whereas the Browns franchise is sure to end in the next 5-10 years.

As a Steeler fanatic, I'm very aware of the quality of football that has been played in Cleveland. At one time, this was one of the greatest rivalries in pro ball & even today, it's still a blood bath. Steeler fans have a helluva time in Cleveland & try to return the favor when the "Dog Pound" loonies come here. The Brownies are special to most Steeler fans. We love to beat them & they love to beat the Steelers. (Although the Steelers have pounded them pretty bad recently)

The Browns of today are an expansion team. The name has a storied history, but the team itself is now located in Baltimore.

I believe it's because in more recent years they have become a "middle of the road team." They don't stand out like today's Patriots or Cowboys. They need to step up and play some football. Winning a few more games wouldn't hurt either.

I'm pretty sure its because they werent very good this year.
see, a lot of people only like teams cause they're good.
as you can see my name i like the eagles, but i've liked them my whole life.
so people always choose teams on how good they are.
its the raiders, the Dolphines, and the browns with a lot of history but nobody seems to care
Only true football fans know about the browns

I think the 49ers, Cowboys, Bears, Steelers, and Packers are much more storied teams. They certainly have the rings to prove it.
