Well eventually the shampoo residue waterfalls on the back if one uses a shower, so the back eventually gets the benefit of the soap/shampoo.

You know I've never found back hair appealing...but the thought of running my fingers through it while shampooing it sounds kind of relaxing...hmmm?.
