your cervical mucus will be like egg whites... kind of strechy and sticky... I used an ovulation microscope. It uses your saliva to detect when ovulation is occuring - you can pick one up either on line or at most drug stores ( Walgreens, etc. ).
I got pregnant the first time I used mine!

I've recently read that while you're ovulating you look and feel thinner and prettier. So if you notice a couple days where your pants seem to fit a little looser and you have a boost of confidence in the mirror, it's time to hop between the sheets with your honey :) Good luck!

Around ovulation you will get a milky white discharge. Some women get a dull backache, and some like myself feel little needle like pains in my sides where the ovaries are.

Before I got pregnant I would always check my ovulation calender on pregnancy.com or org. I don't remember. You put all your info down and then it creates a round about date that you should be ovulating. Hope this helps

You may be able to feel a little twinge or slight pain in your lower abdomen or back when it occurs. Also, your vaginal discharge increases to an egg white consistency, due to the fluid around the cervix increasing, allowing sperm to travel more easily to your egg. Usually an increase in sexual desire also is evident.
