If you have custody of the kids, you have the right to stay in the house until the youngest one leaves full time education!
Seek legal advice ASAP!

womens refuge/shelter. Staet saving money into a bank account he doesnt know about - then plan youre getaway, into a flat? - let the divorce lawyers sort it out OR leave him with the kids, and you get a job?????? The only sure way to get the house split 50/50 - is a divorce, you can still live in the same house and get a divorce - wont be pleasant though.

Damn Thats a bad Situation. The best recourse is legal action of some kind. The Citizens Advice Bureux will have an expert you can speak to, but they may advice family therapy. If you can prove abuse (physical or Mental) you could get the police involved or try one of the charities that specialise in abused women. Your trying to escape maybe packing your bags will get the message accross but as you say you've no where to go and he dosn't sound like the reasnable type. Best of Luck....

There is a lot of things you can do. State and countys have programs for women with kids. They can help you find a place to stay until you get on your feet. The longer you stay the more unhealthy it will be for the kids, if the relationship is that hateful.

ok when he goes to work change the locks then get his things and leave them outside...i know this will cause more crap but he cannot force his way in once you have changed them, if he starts kicking off call the cops, he cannot kick you out because you have kids....then see a solicitor about a divorce...dont stay in a hateful relationship...i did that too and it made me ill....good luck

get a good divorce lawyer...most likely if he won't move you may have to sell the house and divide the money...but get a lawyers advice..there are some lawyers that will talk to your without an initial fee...but also there are children involved so custody is also involved but he should let you and the children have the house and let him move back with mum...do you have friends and witnesses on how he acts..thats always good to have on your side...

good luck...

Just ask him to go. Say it is not good for the kids to be in that environment and as they need a steady place to live then it would be easier for him to leave.

Sell the house, split the money. Just because he has somewhere to go doesnt mean he should just give you the house.
