does anyone know if you get a w-2 form if you were on workers comp for the year

I had no idea so I asked my payroll clerk and she told me they get a document that's like a W-2. It has all the same information, but a different name.

If you earned a paycheck and had taxes taken out, and you did on workers comp, you will get a W-2. It will come from the agency (state or business) that paid your workers comp. I would start making phone calls to track it down.

You will get a 1099 Form, I think.
