I have Norton (I know, some of you hate Norton..but it's what I paid for and have right now) and I did a scan. It said I have two Trojans- csdtu.exe and dmzwk.exe The Norton web site doesn't give me any help in getting rid of these, and when the program tries to repair, it can't. Is that because the exe files are in the System folder? I'm not a tekkie- so does anyone know of simple way to get rid of these? I can follow directions, but not if it's going to tell me some computer lingo that is technical.

Well, you've already been told you were ripped off by Norton, so no more on that subject, except that trojans are not really viruses, they are spyware and Norton can usually see them but not eliminate them. You need spyware removal like Ad-Aware and SpyBot. They each get rid of different types of spy and malware, and are free from download.com.
http://www.download.com/
The first time you use SpyBot, be sure to immunize your computer against over 14,000 known pieces of spyware. Then then you run Ad-Aware the first time, run a full system scan. It will scan all files on your computer and if something is hidden, Ad-Aware will find it. Delete anything each of them finds.

Try and boot into Safe Mode (Restart computer and at Microsoft Windows 2000/XP splash screen press F8). Try and run anti-virus application or go to path of virus/Trojan and delete.
Norton is not a bad AV software, but if it is not up-to-date, it won't work right. If this doesn't work, try and go to F-Secure's website and locate a removal tool for this Trojan.

Sounds like you have some spyware. I would try some free scanners first, but if they don't work, its time to get a commerical-grade spyware scanner installed.
I have had great luck with XoftspySE on my computers. Its easy to use, works really well, and is updated regularly. You can download and try a free scan here:

Good luck!

go on google and search for each of those trojans, there should be either a free utility for removing those, or step by step instructions for removing them manually.
