To solve for such questions you have to make the unknown the subject of the equation...

All the questions you have submitted are all very similar to each other...

For instance, in question 14 to solve for x, you have to get rid of the coefficient of x which is b in this case.

you can get rid of b in Q14 by dividing both sides of the equation by b

(bx) / b = h / b

the b on the right hand side of the equation can be cancelled and what is left behind is

x = h / b

Hence the answer for Q14 is choice B

As for Q13, to make x the subject you have to get rid of c and the a on the right hand side of the equation

c could be gotten rid of by adding c to both sides of the equation and a could be gotten rid of by dividing both sides of the equation by a

ax - c = d
ax - c +c = d + c
ax = d + c

(ax)/a = (d + c) / a
x = (d + c) / a

For increasing cubic binomials the overall formulation is as follows: (a + b) ^ 3 = a^3 + 3*a^2*b^a million + 3*a^a million*b^2 + b^3 on your case, a is x and b is -y^5 So (x - y^5)^3 = x^3 + 3*x^2*(-y^5)^a million + 3*x^a million*(-y^5)^2 + (-y^5)^3 Simplified: =x^3 - 3x^2*y^5 + 3x*y^10 - y^15 :D

We could answer these for you, but how that would help you?

These are logic questions. Read the book, figure out how to do them and improve yourelf.

If you just ask for the answers and get them, you'll never be confident with math and your brain will deteriorate (not from lack of math, but from the attitude of not challenging yourself).
