This is a married person's cop-out for not taking any responsibility for their asinine behavior.
It's still cheating.

The reason that many people think that oral sex isn't cheating when married is because they are not penetrating the other person. However, I totally disagree, any physical contact is a form of cheating while married or even in a committed relationship.

It is the old saying "eat'n ain't cheat'n" however it is a crock of B.S.!! Any kind of sexual contact even if it is a peck on the cheek--if you have sexual feelings for that person and you are married or in a relationship, it is cheating!!! How would the other person feel if it were you doing it??? I am sure not good--unless you have both agreed to an open relationship, then cheating is cheating. I agree--if it looks like a duck, and it walks like a duck--it's a freakin' duck!!!!

Beat's me why people think this, but many do. I'm not an overly religous person, but i once read in some religous text, that the very thought of or desire in ones' own mind and heart for another person other than your current spouse is considered adultery.

This was somewhat shocking to read this, and if i applied it to myself, i realized if it's true, God has reserved a place in the fires of hell for me.

I've not physically cheated in a marriage before, but if what i read is true i'm doomed.

A lot of people, especially young people, seem to think that this is no big deal. But it is cheating, no matter how you look at it. Anytime you are being gratified by someone other than your mate, you are cheating. This can be emotionally as well as physically.

Because it gives them a loophole to cheat while easing their concience. How sad. Any sexual act that I engage in is something that I would want to reserve to sharing with that one, special person whom I love. Anything else is just selfishness.

It is, all they want to do is make themselves feel better about what they have done. If it is not with the person you are with it is cheating.
