There's been some guy posting anti-christian and highly sexual questions, thing is his picture/aviator has a male penis in another man's butt. How can they let pictures like that be on this sight. There is another one who has an aviator of what appears to be child porn and I saw an answerer with a vagina aviator. This is offensive and not fun. What can be done about it. Are you guys thinking of leaving Answers cuz of it?

I agree with you and it is not something I want to see on answers the only thing you can do is report it, and if they don't do something about it then a lot of us will be leaving Y- A.

I totally agree with you, it is down right offensive and makes yahoo answers an unsafe and unhealthy place to exchange views and topics, especially when children have started enjoying and asking questions related to school and other innocent questions.
Yahoo answers should look into this,I thought they moderate questions and the pictures that are posted?
What about the report abuse button - does that really work?
or i think i will have to ban my kids from using yahoo answers, and maybe stop using it myself.
Just when i thought i found a nice safe clean site for my myself and my kids.

How about a screening mechanism. Let users assign ratings. I would not prohibit "offensive" material, because what is offensive to me may be acceptable to you. A good example of this is anti-Christian material. An adherent to some other religion might find this acceptable even for their children.
While we all might wish to restrict sexual material for our young children, we might disagree about the age at which we would let them see it.
So, how about a rating/screening system?

Three friends I invited to join left because of it. They just got tired of reporting and writing on the forum and not having anything done.
Someone chose for their best answer one of the ones with the avatar of the men and a sexual reference...to a R&S question.

Do not leave, these people are in here for the shock factor, ignore them as they will be caught and asked to leave, just give them the thumbs down and report them.

i have to agree with you. i dont even try to go in religion anymore for that matter. its sad that they have to get attention to themselves in that matter instead of answering the questions. im sorry that you have to see this. i have sent y! so many emails regarding this matter. but they just make some other email account and do the same thing. they are sick!

do some thing hon. report the abuse. blog their 360 pages and let every one know their adress, so we can report them too.

Answers do delete and penalyze these people when they are out of compliance.
