Try Boots No.7 Intelligent Colour Mousse Foundation. It will give you a great even coverage with a little colour but will blend evenly with your natural skin colour so you don't have that orange colour and its blends in very easily with a perfect finish so you don't get the make up mask look that some people have when they don't blend their foundation in right.

Its about £12 and its a big jar that comes with spatula for getting all the foundation out...even the bits at the bottom of the jar and a little of this foundation goes a really long way.

Go into Boots and give them a test out before you buy or if your brave enough the bigger Boots store will advise you even give u a mini face make over so you can see what works best for you before you put your hand in your pocket.

A brilliant one that I used which was light and gave a lovely finish
is Benefits non fiction, I have light skin and freckles but brown hair and number 2 workd really well!
The foundation I use at the moment is MAC studio fix which is brilliant give a really good cover and even covers the spots and looks really natural but give you a glow
My advice is to go to these counters and ask them what is best for your skin tone, explain that you only want something light and dont feel pressured into buying anything just experiment!
Its fun!

Shop around and get plenty of advice of what is out there. Have a look at some of the big makeup counters in department stores. Most of all try out lots of different brands by sampling until you are satisfied with what suits you, most of all just do not buy because the sales assistant says you look good, take a friend for a second opinion.

Estee Lauder double wear is the best foundation i have ever come across and i have freckles and acne scars.
It covers these no problems - and they do colours from Translucent all the way up to dark beige
So you should find the one you need.

Hope that helps

Try a tinted moisturiser this time of the year. All skin needs extra protection, so buy one with an SFP.
