Becks has been finished as a top player for sometime me now and he was only in the England team for so long as Sven loved him and felt he could do no wrong. America is the correct standard for him now and im sure at that level hell still look like a good player. IMHO the hype has always far outweighed the actual footballing talent of Becks. OK so he can hit a dead ball (free-kicks and corners) but he has never IMHO been a world class player as he never had a good enough all round game. I'm just glad the rumours were false that he was going to join Spurs as we really didn't need the overrated poser who's best days are long long behind him and as i said even at his best he was NEVER world class.

It's a pension deal. Pele, Beckenbauer and Cruyff set the trend in the 70's. He'll go over there and try to sell some merchandise and enjoy strolling round the park pinging 50-yard balls while the rest of the team does the running around for him. I reckon it means the end of his international career though.

The better question is "Is Becks ready for America?". No one watches MLS here. No one cares about SOCCER here. No one will go out of their way to buy product endorsed by Becks here- outside the Beck-ophiles that already buy those things. Attendancce will spike for MLS and then drop as the novelty of seeing Becks fire set pieces will wear off quickly. Sportscenter won't cover him much because simply put NO ONE CARES about SOCCER in the US.
As for Posh, she's going to hate it here too. No attention paid to her. Sitting in empty stadiums.

To do what!? Turning up to glitzy dinners and 'in depth' interviews will soon bore him silly.
Becks, go back to Leytonstone and play for the Orient. What a turn around for the team. Victoria can take the kids around Coronation Gardens, or Abbotts Park, on practice days!

America wants nothing to do beckam. Nobody cares about MLS. I don't even know what channel even plays soccer. Our soccer teams stink, we don't care. Just leave us alone and quit trying to force the people watch and like soccer. Between football and baseball we have no time for soccer.

No he needs to give West Ham a season worth of games before moving there. He owes us for learning his trade in our part and been given the chance to show Man Utd scouts what he was about (due to our training, see I'm repeating myself).

Becks can stay there. He is only going over there to promote "Brand Beckham". Who does he think he is? Too good for the Premiership now is he? I doubt it!

Never mind David. The shares in the clothes shops, just went through the roof, in anticipation of "Posh" arriving.
