With more than 3,000 American deaths and approx. 60,000 wounded, Bush is sending 21,000 more troops to possibly die or lose their limbs in Bagdad (not to even mention the already innumerable Iraqi deaths). Why aren't their massive demonstrations? Why aren't constituents calling or writing their representatives? Are average Americans (with their "Support Our Troops" ribbon magnets) really going to just sit back and watch the massacre unfold on TV?

Yes, I care about this war. I care about all the needless deaths that have occured because of it. I care because all Americans are being profiled when getting on an airplane. I care about the freedoms we have lost. I care that we are coming closer everyday to the New World Order. nancy Polesi even mentioned it in her swearing in speech. The American people need to wake up. And yes..there SHOULD be massive demonstartions. But people are too 'busy' to bother. Wait...just wait till it's too late.

Because they've already tried massive demonstrations and calling representatives....even voted many of the reps out of office.
Ultimately, there isn't much the new Congress can do to overturn anything Bush vetoes.
The idea of sending more is to clean up the mess that we don't have enough guys there to finish now...personally, i think the Democrats actually want this to end as a failure for their own political gain.
And the more Republican I become as a result.

There aren`t massive demonstrations because most Americans want to win in Iraq. You don`t win by fleeing. Get a backbone !

Learn something little girl. This is NOT a useless war. Ask our military direct on if they are doing the right thing. Hell, I just saw a program with a brave soldier who lost both his legs in IRAQ and wants to go back and fight.

I bet you are against all wars aren't you? I bet you would have been against World War II also?
